Weather Update – Friday, January 7
One final day of chilly conditions before a boost in temperatures arrives Saturday!
FRIDAY – Another cold day is underway as temperatures will start in the single digits, then climb to the mid 20s for our afternoon high. However, don’t be fooled by this increase in temperatures; breezy winds from the south could gust up to 25mph throughout the afternoon creating wind chill values near 10°. Mostly sunny skies will dominate the day before giving way to partly cloudy skies overnight. Temperatures will stay mild, dropping into the low 20s. However, breezy conditions will persist throughout the overnight hours with southerly gusts of 30mph possible.
SATURDAY – Saturday looks to be the best day of the weekend with temperatures soaring into the mid 40s! Gusty winds from the south will ease up slightly with sustained wind speeds near 10mph. Mostly sunny skies will help make this day a decent one to venture outside.
SUNDAY – Thanks to a cold front sweeping through overnight, Sunday’s temperatures will slide back down into the low 30s with partly cloudy skies.
