Wednesday Evening Weather Update; December 2, 2020

Skies will turn partly cloudy overnight and temperatures will drop to the middle 20°s by Thursday morning.

One thing we are going to keep an eye on is fog development during the overnight.  High resolution computer models are suggesting fog forming after 2 a.m./3 a.m. Thursday.  Some areas could see the visibility drop to less than a mile for a couple hours.  It appears that the fog should lift by 9 a.m.

Once the fog lifts, skies should quickly turning mostly sunny by late morning.  Even with a weaker early December sun, temperatures should find there way back to the middle 40°s.

I am still anticipating a slight warm-up as we head towards the weekend.  Sunshine around the area Friday and high temperatures near 50°.  Much the same for Saturday, albeit a degree or two warmer than Friday.
