Week 4 high school football roundup: Malcolm rolls past Palmyra for third straight year, and more

LINCOLN, Neb (KLKN) – Despite the constant lightning strikes just miles away, Malcolm was determined to get its third straight victory against Palmyra – in which the Clippers cruised past the Panthers in a 42-0 victory at the Shipyard in Channel 8’s Game of the Week.

At the helm of Malcolm’s (2-2) overwhelming offensive display was freshman Gregg Smith, who scored four touchdowns in just his fourth game in high school. Although the Panthers (1-3) were unable to put a point on the board, the defense had its moments, including an impressive stop within the 15-yds of the endzone following a panthers’ fumble to open the game.

Lincoln Southeast 41 (2-2), Lincoln Northwest 7 (2-3)
