Weekend Warm-up
A fantastic weekend is ahead for southeast Nebraska. While temperatures early morning Saturday and Sunday will be chilly, it won’t be nearly as cold as normal for the first November weekend.
Winds will remain out of the south Saturday. Under mostly sunny skies temperatures will find their way in to the upper 60°s to lower 70°s. It isn’t out of the question for a few locales to reach the middle 70°s in central Nebraska.
Mostly sunny skies will be the rule for Sunday. Temperatures should be a couple degrees warmer than Saturday. Look for most of southeast Nebraska to reach at least the low 70°s during the afternoon.
DAYLIGHT SAVING ENDS
A reminder to set your clocks back an hour Sunday morning as Daylight Saving comes to an end. While changing your clocks, it is also a good time to change the batteries in your NOAA Weather Radios and smoke detectors.
