Windstream hosts Kinetic Kindness event

Today the community was invited to visit the downtown Windstream location where employees were answering questions and providing insight into the internet services they offer.

"Today we’re all about kinetic kindness and doing a customer appreciation event. We have Kona ice here from noon until 2. Giving away the first 200 Kona ice for free. And we’re really excited about telling our customers about our kinetic high speed internet," said Stephanie Frana, a Windstream marketing coordinator.

The internet provider is offering their version of high speed internet, kinetic internet, kinetic gig and of course, kinetic TV.

Their special offer on internet is a year long trial of high speeds for just 20 bucks a month.

"That’s no fees, no extra charges, we do free activation all the way up to a 100 meg and for 20 dollars more you can get all the way up to a gig if you qualify," said Frana.

The downtown location is off of centennial mall and m streets.

Even though it was a hot day out there today, a lot of people found solace in enjoying a free treat and chatting with a customer service representative.

"We just really believe in giving back to the community and saying thank you. This was just a way, on a hot day, to say thank you to those folks who are our customers and anybody walking by today who wants to cool down," said Frana.
