Windy and rainy Monday- Hot week ahead
- It’s a FULL MOON ( Harvest moon) tonight! Near 4am Monday, scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop in SE Nebraska and continue through the late morning hours. The better chance for storms will be Monday evening near 9pm-6am Tuesday morning. Some storms could be strong to severe with small hail and gusty winds. Rain totals up to 0.50″+ in SE Nebraska through Tuesday morning.
- Tuesday, temperatures will warm back up into the mid to upper 80s. This warming trend will continue through the weekend. There will also be a light haze due to some wildfire smoke from Canada. Smoke concentration should stay aloft though a small haze will be noticeable.
- We are tracking several small disturbances late in the week, which will bring daily rain and storm chances through the weekend into next week.

Monday morning starts a bit warmer, with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Southerly winds will also pick up through the morning
Monday afternoon, highs will depend on morning rain and cloud cover. Most spots topping out in the 60s and 70s with gusty south winds.
