Windy and warm for now, then wet

After talks of a wintry mix possible Saturday morning, what fell was mostly rain across our area. Everyone that saw some light precipitation to start the weekend only got under a quarter of an inch, but many of us will take what we can get at this point in the year. The good news is that we have more chances to see moisture several days into next week.

For now, breezy conditions will stick with us through Saturday evening, still gusting anywhere from 20-25 miles per hour. That was what ultimately helped us push past 60° for a time.

Winds will eventually calm, and mostly clear skies will send temperatures down into the 30s to start Sunday. It’ll be partly cloudy to start off the day but clearing with a breeze out of the northwest will bring more sunshine throughout the afternoon.

Temperatures due to the wind shift will not warm up all that much from Saturday as we try to make a run for 60° to finish out the first weekend in November. It’ll also be daylight savings time Sunday evening, so do not forget to set your clocks back an hour as we “fall back” in time and lose more daylight.

Dma Tomorrow High

Again, next week will be more wet than weeks past, with chances Tuesday through Thursday. For now, we will warm up through the beginning of next week before the rain comes.
