Windy & Cool Tuesday- Rain Likely Wednesday
A very WINDY and chilly Tuesday. A cold front moved through this morning bringing STRONG north winds across Nebraska. Winds will continue through this evening with the strongest winds through 1pm. Temperatures will stay in the 50s & 60s under partly/mostly cloudy skies. Rain showers move in Wednesday afternoon!
Chilly north winds will gust to near 45-55 mph through 1PM this afternoon. Tuesday evening will still be on the windy side with gusts remaining near 25-30+ mph.
Tuesday will be dry, windy and chilly for much of the state. Wednesday morning, light showers develop out west. By late afternoon and evening, scattered showers & T-storms move into SE and eastern Nebraska. A few storms could turn SEVERE Wednesday night across SE Nebraska, with small hail, gusty winds, and a low tornado threat. Stay tuned for updates! Thursday morning brings rain and T-storms across eastern Nebraska, before diminishing Thursday afternoon. Friday afternoon and evening, there is a chance for showers & thunderstorms across SE and eastern Nebraska. Easter Sunday shaping up just fine! A warm up in store next Wednesday!
