Winter Storm Watch issued for majority of Nebraska Tuesday

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch starting Tuesday 9 a.m., expiring Wednesday 6 a.m. The main weather threats for the storm include snow accumulations of 4-8″ and wind gusts up to 45 mph.

This weather advisory currently does not include Lancaster county, however stay up to date with our forecast as this may change.

Counties included in the watch are: Valley, Greeley, Nance, Sherman, Howard, Merrick, Dawson, Buffalo, Hall, Hamilton, Gosper, Phelps, Kearney, Adams, Furnace, Harlan, Franklin, Burt, Cuming, Dodge, Thurston, Antelope, Boone, Cedar, Colfax, Knox, Madison, Pierce, Platt, Stanton, Wayne, as well as cities Kearney and Grand Island
