Winter weather advisory issued for majority of Nebraska

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the following counties from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m:

Antelope, Cedar, Cuming, Knox, Madison, Pierce, Stanton, Thurston, Wayne, Butler, Cass, Colfax, Dodge, Douglas, Lancaster, Platte, Sarpy, Saunders, Seward, Washington, Boone, Burt, Buffalo, Dawson, Greeley, Hall, Hamilton, Howard, Merrick, Nance, Polk, Sherman, Valley, York

Blustery conditions (wind gusts up to 30 mph) and snowfall amounts of 1-2″ are expected. Slick road conditions overnight and early Monday morning are very possible.
