Wisconsin QB Graham Mertz tests positive for COVID-19
The redshirt freshman will miss this Saturday's game against Nebraska.

LINCOLN – It was reported by CBS Sports this morning that Wisconsin QB Graham Mertz has test positive for COVID-19. The redshirt freshman tested positive for the virus this weekend, but after a further testing, the positive test results were confirmed.
Mertz will enter the 21-day protocol enforced by the Big Ten. He will miss this Saturday’s game against the Huskers.
Mertz is already the Badger’s backup quarterback after starter Jack Coan suffered a foot injury in preseason camp this year.
