Woman accelerates into apartment building
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – On Friday morning around 9 am at 1630 N 56th Street, a woman was parking to go to work when her foot got stuck and she accelerated into an apartment building.
The resident of the apartment above the accident reported hearing a large boom thinking it was an explosion and came out expecting to see fire.
No one was injured in the accident and luckily the unit of the apartment building hit is currently vacant.
An investigation was done to ensure the building’s structure, electrical, and gas was not impacted.
