Woman accused of DUI after train hits car in western Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A train crashed into a car early Saturday morning in western Nebraska, the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office says.

In a post on Facebook, the sheriff’s office shared a photo of the crash, which showed a damaged sedan on the train tracks.

It’s unknown what led up to the crash.

The sheriff’s office said no one was injured and everyone had exited the vehicle before it was struck by the train.

After an investigation, 25-year-old Victoria Martinez was arrested on suspicion of DUI and child endangerment.
