Woman accused of hiding fugitive in rural Gage County home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were arrested Friday after deputies served a search warrant at a rural Gage County home.

Around 5 a.m., the Gage County Sheriff’s Office served the warrant at a home in Odell, just north of the Nebraska-Kansas border.

Deputies were looking for 37-year-old Michael Louis, who was wanted on two felony warrants from Gage County District Court.

Inside the home, deputies found bags containing suspected methamphetamine, meth pipes and prescription pills, the sheriff’s office said.

Louis and the home’s resident, 44-year-old Amanda Lee Andelt, were both arrested on suspicion of felony drug charges.

The sheriff’s office said Hormann was also charged with accessory to a felony “for harboring a fugitive.”
