Woman arrested after carving name on vehicle’s door in Grand Island, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A woman left her signature on a vehicle’s passenger door in Grand Island on Monday, police say.

Around 6:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of criminal mischief near North Road and Capital Avenue.

A man told officers that Amy Molina scratched her name on the passenger door of his Infinity G35.

Police estimate the vehicle had $5,500 in damage.

Molina had sent a message to the victim showing the damage, according to police.

She was later arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief causing over $5,000 in damage.
