Woman arrested in south Lincoln hit-and-run that injured pedestrian

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A woman was arrested Sunday after a hit-and-run crash in south Lincoln.

The Lincoln Police Department said the crash happened near 14th Street and Cushman Drive around 4:30 a.m.

A vehicle driven by 25-year-old Lamika Livingston struck a 37-year-old man and drove off, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.  He remains in the hospital.

Around 9 p.m., Livingston called police to report that she hit the pedestrian with her vehicle.

She was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an injury accident.
