Woman beaten with Swiffer Sweeper left swollen and cut up, Nebraska police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man is accused of using a Swiffer Sweeper to repeatedly beat a woman in a Nebraska community.

According to the Grand Island Police Department, the attack happened on Tuesday near East Phoenix Avenue and South Pine Street.

Frantz Kolbjornsen was arrested after the woman went to a hospital two days later, as she said the pain kept increasing.

An exam found deep cuts along her back, wrist and fingers.  She also had swollen hands and forearms.

GIPD says the Swiffer Sweeper has been collected as evidence, and that it was broken from the assault.
