Woman busted with a vehicle full of drugs in Lincoln after blasting music, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A woman parked at a Lincoln hotel got busted with a vehicle full of drugs, police say, after she turned her music up way too high.

Megan Martinez, 39, was at the Country Inn and Suites Hotel on North 27th Street on Thursday, according to the Lincoln Police Department.

Officers said they responded to a noise complaint a little after 10 p.m., spotted signs of impairment and told Martinez she was under arrest on suspicion of DUI.

Martinez is then accused of trying to run away, but she was ultimately taken into custody.

LPD said it found methamphetamine, psychedelic mushrooms, marijuana, narcotics paraphernalia, a .45-caliber handgun and $8,489 inside her vehicle.

Martinez is facing a long list of charges, including DUI, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
