Woman cited in August crash that killed motorcyclist in north Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A woman was ticketed Wednesday in a crash that killed a motorcyclist in north Lincoln earlier this year.
The 30-year-old woman was cited and released on suspicion of motor vehicle homicide and having no insurance.
Police said she failed to yield the right of way to a motorcyclist, 61-year-old Jeffry Baker, on 48th Street near Leighton Avenue on Aug. 23.
Baker was taken to a hospital, where he later died. He was not wearing a helmet, police said.
LPD stated that speed was not a factor in the crash.
