Woman drives boyfriend to hospital after stabbing him, Lincoln Police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A woman was arrested Sunday after she stabbed her boyfriend and drove him to the hospital, Lincoln Police say.

Around 3:45 p.m., officers were sent to a residence near 21st and A Streets on a report of a stabbing.

The caller said that a 37-year-old man had been stabbed by his girlfriend, 52-year-old Julie Milton, Lincoln Police say.

When officers arrived, Milton had already taken her boyfriend to the hospital, according to Lincoln Police.

Officers then went to the hospital and found the boyfriend, who had a stab wound on his right hand.  His injuries were not life-threatening.

Milton had already left the hospital but she was arrested shortly after when officers pulled her over near 14th and Arapahoe Streets, Lincoln Police say.

Lincoln Police arrested Milton on suspicion of 1st-degree domestic assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
