LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A driver was arrested Sunday after she hit a woman during a spat in west Lincoln, police say.

Around 6:30 p.m., 37-year-old Desiree Viesca and another woman were separated after a fight near Northwest 22nd and West Q streets.

Shortly after, the woman took the trash out.  While she was at the dumpster, Viesca drove up and started threatening her, police said.

Viesca then backed her vehicle into the woman, who suffered a leg injury, according to police.

She was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Viesca was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
