Woman injured in crash near Lincoln may have permanent brain damage

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln woman is still in the hospital two weeks after a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 6.
The 46-year-old could have permanent brain damage, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.
She was injured Feb. 26 in a crash east of Lincoln.
Authorities said she was stopped at the intersection of Highway 6 and 98th Street.
A semitrailer behind her failed to stop and crashed into her Toyota Corolla, which caused a chain reaction, the sheriff’s office said.
The driver of the semi suffered injuries that were not life-threatening. No one else was seriously injured.
