Woman killed in fiery Seward County crash is identified

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities in eastern Nebraska on Tuesday identified the woman killed in a fiery crash.

The Seward County Sheriff’s Office said the victim was 47-year-old Melissa Paczosa of Denver.

The crash happened shortly before 11 p.m. at 210th Road and U.S. Highway 6, about 5 miles northeast of Milford.

An SUV went off the road and caught fire, the sheriff’s office said.

One person was able to get out, but the woman who died was trapped inside, according to authorities.

The sheriff’s office has not said what caused the crash.
