Woman pours syrup, water in hotel room after kicked out

Lincoln Police cited a 21-year-old woman for vandalism after they said she poured maple syrup and water around a north Lincoln hotel room Wednesday night.
Police said she was asked to leave the hotel for being loud, smoking and having unauthorized animals in her room.
She got upset, and that’s when she turned the television over, flooded the room and dumped syrup onto the floor, mattress, phone and television.
The hotel estimated the damage at $500.
