LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a woman who stole a vehicle last month from a west Lincoln parking lot.

The Jeep Gladiator was stolen on May 9 in a parking lot near First Street and West Denton Road.

Security video later captured the thief using the victim’s credit card at Casey’s near 55th and Superior streets.

Police said the woman had a tattoo on her left chest area.

A few days later, the Jeep was returned to the same parking lot where it was stolen with the keys inside.

Police are also looking for a trio involved in a theft at Scheel’s near 27th Street and Pine Lake Road on June 2.

Security video spotted two men stealing gun holsters, while a minor stood by, “possibly as a lookout,” according to police.

The three left in a dark gray Toyota Tundra with Mississippi plates.

Investigators ran the plate but were unable to connect it to the trio.

Anyone with information on either case is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
