Woman shot in the head in Lincoln, in stable condition

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – According to the Lincoln Police Department, around 1:45 pm on Tuesday, December 21st, officers were called to a reported shooting at 1300 N. 10th Street.

Upon arrival, officers found a 60-year-old female with a gunshot wound to her head, she was conscious when police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue arrived.

She was transported to a local hospital where she is in stable condition.

Two males, ages 59 and 54, live at the home where the incident occurred, they are currently still under investigation.

At this time, no arrests have been made and police are still sorting through evidence.  The relationship between all parties has not currently been given.

Officers, investigators, and crime scene technicians processed the scene for evidence, canvassed the area, and conducted interviews.

Police are unaware of if the victim lives at the house where the incident occurred, and have no idea if the two men shot the victim.
