LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A woman was arrested Sunday in an assault at a northeast Lincoln home, court records say.

Just after midnight, officers were sent to a home near 33rd Street and Cornhusker Highway on a report of a stabbing.

During an argument, 24-year-old Tatiana Iniguez cut a woman’s face with a knife, according to an arrest affidavit.

She also punched the victim in the back of the head, the affidavit alleges.

Investigators learned that the dispute stemmed from a comment on the home’s “untidiness,” according to the affidavit.

Officers seized a “very large knife” during a search of the home.

Iniguez was charged with second-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon while committing a felony.

A Lancaster County judge set Iniguez’s bond at $25,000.  She must pay $2,500 to be released from jail.
