Woman tried pushing officers with her feet after a tire iron attack, Nebraska police say

LINCOLN. Neb. (KLKN) — A woman was arrested following a tire iron attack that left a man beaten, alongside a busted up car.

According to the Grand Island Police Department, this all happened Tuesday around 6 p.m. at West Park Plaza.

Officers say Alisha Michalski went after her partner with the tire iron, hitting him in the back and a leg.

She’s then accused of repeatedly striking another woman’s car and threatening to kill her.

GIPD says Michalski also laid on the ground and attempted to push officers away with her feet, as they tried to arrest her.

She’s now charged with terroristic threats, domestic assault, resisting arrest and more.
