LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska Department of Transportation on Friday announced a road project on Highway 136, just west of Fairbury.

Starting March 17, crews will work to replace the bridge deck and some of the railroad tracks in the area. Paving work will also be done.

According to the department, traffic will be maintained with traffic lights and will require a 12-foot lane restriction.

The project is expected to be completed in October.
