Worker injured in flash fire at Lincoln propane shop

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An employee at a west Lincoln propane shop was injured on the job Monday.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue was called to Otte Oil & Propane on West O Street about 4 p.m.

Workers were cutting apart a propane tank they thought was empty, according to LFR.

But there was a flash fire, injuring one of the employees.

The worker was taken to a hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
