Worker’s foot trapped when ceiling breaks at Lincoln recycling plant

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man broke through a ceiling Tuesday at a Lincoln recycling plant.
About 1 p.m., the man was resetting cameras on the second-story storage area at American Recycling near 14th Street and Nebraska Parkway, according to Lincoln Fire & Rescue.
His foot went through the floor and got caught, an LFR spokeswoman said.
LFR crews removed him and took him to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
