Yoga and sauna services added to Lincoln wellness business

It seems everyone has a busy schedules these days, making it hard to find time for yourself.
Lost In Float, located near 84th & Holdrege in Lincoln, has added some services to further their goal of improving your life through wellness and self-care.
If the name Lost In Float sounds familiar, you probably know it as the place that helps you relax by floating in salt water.
Now, they’ve expanded their facilities to offer yoga classes and a sauna.
“You can feel comfortable coming into any class, whether you own yoga pants, a mat, or even know what down dog is,” said Gina Wertz, co-owner of Lost In Float.
The new addition opened at the beginning of February, nearly two years after Lost In Float opened for business.
Wertz said it was difficult for her to find yoga classes that fit into her schedule, and knew she wasn’t alone.
Lost In Float now offers 14 different classes of all levels.
“Our teachers are wonderful at modifying positions and poses, so you’re able to attain the practice that you’re looking for,” said Wertz.
Those modifications were exactly what Linsey Hulbert was searching for when her doctor cleared her to begin exercise after an injury.
“Yoga’s been great, it’s a lot of functional movement so it’s really great to help me build up strength with my injury,” said Hulbert.
But yoga isn’t the only new thing at Lost In Float.
Their new sauna has been a huge benefit this winter, not only for the warmth, but for your health.
“They’ve been seeing cardiovascular benefits, which are amazing, and a 40% all-cause mortality reduction just by using sauna 4-7 times a week, as well as increasing lean muscle mass and endurance,” said Wertz.
If you’re apprehensive about giving yoga a go, Lost In Float offers your first class free.

Sauna use is also free for all yoga and float members.
