York holds Lincoln Northwest to 2 points in dominant win
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) —No. 6 York defeated Lincoln Northwest 58-2 on Friday at UBT Stadium.
The Dukes got off to a fast start on the opening drive.
Quarterback Emmitt Dirks handed it off to Carter Stenger, who weaved his way through traffic for the touchdown.
The 2-point conversion was good, and York took an 8-0 lead.
Wind was a factor in the game. On the next York drive, the snap went over Dirks’ head and resulted in a safety.
That would be Lincoln Northwest’s only score of the night.
