Zoo Bar celebrating 46 years: Zoo Fest starts Friday night

The Zoo Bar in Lincoln is celebrating 46 years, and Zoo Fest, which kicks off Friday night, is celebrating more than 20 years!

Gates open at 5 p.m., Friday, July 19th.

Here’s the lineup for Friday night:

5 p.m: The Paladins

7 p.m. Junior Brown

9 p.m. Mike Zito

Saturday, July 20th, the event starts at 1 p.m.

Here’s Saturday’s lineup:

1 p.m. Blues Ed Program

3 p.m. The Bottle Tops

5 p.m. Bruce Katz Band

7 p.m. James Harman

9 p.m. Mavis Staples

11 p.m. Empire Strikes Brass

The event features live music, of course, food vendors, drinks, as well as vendors with merchandise and activities for families during the day (Saturday).

The two-day event has featured musicians from across the country, this year is no different.
