LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- 110,611 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the United States on Thanksgiving, according to a real-time count kept by Johns Hopkins University.
Thanksgiving was the 24th day in a row that the country has reported over 100,000 new cases of coronavirus.
This is down from a peak of 196,004 new cases on Nov. 20.
1,232 COVID-19 deaths were reported nationwide on Thursday, which is less than the record of 2,609 new deaths on April 15.
