Nearly 80 Lancaster County residents hospitalized with COVID, day before Thanksgiving


LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) announces 260 new coronavirus cases, bringing the community total to 15,321.

Reported recoveries increased to 5,060, while the total number of deaths remains at 73.

This week’s positivity rate is 25.8%.

A total of 157 people (79 from Lancaster County) were hospitalized locally with the virus. A total of 14 people are on ventilators.

Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell. If you have symptoms, please get tested. Testing is now open to all Lancaster County residents by appointment only.
