18-year-old accused in Lincoln gas station shooting is sent to trial

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A judge ruled Wednesday that there is enough evidence to try the man accused of shooting a woman at a north Lincoln gas station.
Lancaster County Judge Rodney Reuter forwarded Drecye Bogan’s case to district court.
The 18-year-old is charged with discharging a firearm near a building, unlawful discharge of a firearm and use of a firearm to commit a felony.

The shooting happened on Sept. 7 at 33rd and Holdrege streets.
Police said surveillance video shows Bogan standing near the Casey’s and firing a rifle toward the Kwik Shop across the street.
Four bullets hit a woman in the parking lot, three striking her in the back and one grazing her arm.
She was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
