Updated: 3 suspects named in shooting death

Lincoln police have arrested three men in connection with the Sunday morning shooting death of a 19-year-old man at a party.

Police say 20-year-old Jermain Jackman, 19-year-old Davaughn Johnson, and 18-year-old Deanthony Love were arrested a few hours after the shooting.  Police say Jackman and Johnson were arrested for first degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony.   Love was arrested for aiding and abetting in the crime.

On Sunday at about 2:45 a.m., police were called to 231 S. 53rd St. on a report that a man had been shot.  Police say 19-year-old Dwayne Greer was found with multiple gun shot wounds and taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.  An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

Police say more than 20 people were there when it happened. Witnesses told police there was an argument at the house that continued outside.  They told police two men fired shots with the same gun. Police say Jackman, Johnson, and Love left the party in a red 2000 Oldsmobile Alero.  The car was found later Sunday morning at 11th & B Streets.  Police located the three men inside an apartment at 1133 B Street and arrested them.  A gun was also found inside the apartment.

This is the second homicide in Lincoln this year.
