19-year-old pleads not guilty in downtown Lincoln shooting

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A teenager pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to being in an accessory in a Lincoln shooting.
Kashaun Lockett, 19, of Omaha was arraigned in Lancaster County District Court.
The charge against him stems from a shooting that happened on Sept. 5 near Pinnacle Bank Arena.

They said 18-year-old Delshon Levering pulled the trigger. He is charged with first-degree assault.
Bria Carter, 31, is accused of driving the getaway car. Like Lockett, she is charged with accessory to a felony.
Most of the court documents in the case are sealed, so it’s not clear what police think Lockett’s role was.
Both Levering and Carter are scheduled to be back in court on May 8.
