200+ new cases of Coronavirus in Lancaster County

The community total is now pushed to over 20,000 residents testing positive for the virus in Lancaster County.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Officials with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) reported 281 new cases of COVID-19 in the community on Sunday.

These additions push the community total to over 20,000 with exactly 20,043 Lancaster County residents testing positive for the virus.

No new deaths were reported leaving the community total at 119.

The county is reporting 5,788 people have recovered from COVID-19.

Statewide, 711 Nebraskans are currently hospitalized from the virus. The positivity rate in Lancaster County so far this week is 26.9%.
