3.7 magnitude earthquake detected in south-central Nebraska

It happened around 7:51 a.m. on Sunday.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A 3.7 magnitude earthquake was registered just southwest of Superior early Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey’s Earthquake Hazards Program.

It happened around 7:51 a.m. on Sunday.

Per the report, the earthquake’s epicenter was just south of the Nebraska border in Jewell County, Kansas.

The Nuckolls County Sheriff’s Office said they several people called saying they felt a tremor. They did not have any reports of damage.
