60s all the way through the weekend
The mild weather continues through the weekend and into next week. The next cold day holds of until Wednesday of next week.
Along with that cold shot of air next week, we’ll see our next chance for precipitation.
Most of the day will be in the 50s on Friday, but we’ll try for 60s at some point in the afternoon.
It will be a little breezy during the day, too. Sustained winds will be in the 10-20 mph range with wind gusts nearing 30 mph.
Upper 50s and lower 60s are expected for the high Friday afternoon. That’s 15 to 20 degrees above average.
No rain is in the forecast for the next several days but we’ll see plenty of sunshine and well above average temperatures.
We do need the rain, too. The drought monitor has areas from GI to Columbus to Lincoln in the “Severe” drought range.
