88-year-old Grand Island man is back behind bars and accused of stalking again

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An 88-year-old Grand Island man is being accused of stalking for the second time this summer.
About 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Floyd Leiser was stalking a woman and her children, according to the Grand Island Police Department.
Police said he tried get one of the children away from the mom. The victim was under 16, according to GIPD.
Leiser was referred to the Hall County Attorney’s Office for charges.
Then on Wednesday, Leiser failed to show up in court for a hearing in a similar case.
A judge issued a warrant for his arrest, and he booked in the Hall County Jail that afternoon.

In June, Leiser was arrested on suspicion of child enticement and stalking.
Court documents say he tried to get a 13-year-old girl into his pickup truck.
And police said that was the third time in the past two months that he approached that girl.
On July 8, Leiser paid $2,500 to be released from jail.
This time, his bond was set at $100,000, so he will need to pay $10,000 to get out.
