Snow storm possible for Monday-Tuesday

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch from Monday evening through Tuesday evening for Lancaster county, as well as most of south central, southeast and eastern Nebraska.

Heavy snowfall is expected, especially on Tuesday. Lincoln/Lancaster county could see six inches or more of snow accumulation.

Additionally, strong winds, gusting up to 40 mph could create blizzard-like conditions.

The heavy snowfall mixed with strong winds could make for hazardous driving conditions on the roads and highways.
