The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Watch for Lancaster county, and surrounding eastern Nebraska counties, for Monday through Tuesday.
Expect at least 6-10 inches of snow. Higher accumulations are possible in some areas.
High winds will accompany this system, gusting from the northeast at up to 40 mph.
These high winds could cause blizzard-like conditions, including blowing snow, which could lead to low visibility.
Expect hazardous driving conditions on the roads and highways.
Central Nebraska has been moved to a Blizzard Warning.
Western Nebraska remains under a Winter Storm Warning.
