Rhode Island gas shoots up 15 cents from last week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – AAA said Monday that Rhode Island’s average gas price is up 15 cents from last week.

The average is now at $4.72 a gallon — $1.78 higher than one year ago.

AAA said the national average for a gallon of gas has not fallen for nearly a month.
