BREAKING: Explosion in West Point

Emergency crews responded to reports of an explosion Wednesday. It happened around 3:30 pm at Sapp Bros Petroleum in West Point, about 85 miles north of Lincoln.

Few details from authorities have been released.

Todd Bruck, a spokesperson for the St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point, said seven patients were treated, including two who were taken by helicopter to an Omaha hospital in critical condition. Two firefighters were treated for minor injuries. 

The cause of the explosions is unknown. Officials are still investigating .
