Lincoln Fire & Rescue were called to storage shed on fire near 56th and Fletcher around 7 p.m. When crews arrived they saw smoke coming from the roof.

Firefighters kept the blaze from spreading despite the freezing temperatures.

“The biggest hindrance on a day like today is the weather and how much water we use on the roof and if we have people up there. It causes it to freeze immediately,” Battalion Chief Eric Jones said.

No one was injured. Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire.
