Officers bust three teens in Lincoln vape store robbery

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three teens were taken into custody early Monday after breaking into a vape store near 40th and O Streets, Lincoln Police say.

Around 12:56 a.m., a caller told dispatch that they saw a group riding near Lincoln Vapor and also heard banging on a window.

When officers arrived, they found the store’s front windows shattered, police say.  They estimate the damage to the business at around $1,350.

Officers then spotted a group fleeing the area near 40th and J Streets.

Three teens ages 13, 14 and 17 years old were then taken into custody after officers set up a perimeter in the area.

They were all referred on suspicion of burglary, police say.  Around $150 worth of products were taken from the shop, according to police.
