Armed robbers hold up restaurant

Lincoln Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Wednesday night near 50th and 0 Street.

Police say the manager of Noodles and Company called around 10:23 p.m. after they witnessed two males enter the back door of the restaurant.

Officials say the suspects were described as two African American males in their 20’s, wearing dark clothing and a face covering .

Authorities say the suspects presented a handgun and gained access to the safe, cash, and personal items from the employees.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Police officers pursued the men on foot and one of the suspects was apprehended after a perimeter was set up.

Police did recover some items and a BB gun. At this time police are not sure if this was the weapon used in the robbery.

Officers are still on the lookout for the other suspect. No arrests have been made at this time.
